Few updates to mention - the BF3 leaderboards and the Compare BF3 stats(new) are now auto updating every hour on the hour. The bf3 leaderboard has had some internal updates, server and player history, a better dogtags view among other things. Also taking entries for kill cam of the week in the forums - Will be a video player on the homepage showing the winners from each week ! - so get busy recording

New BF3 Patch coming out Dec. 6 / 2011

DICE has recently announced that BF3 will be patched for the PC on Tuesday, December 6th at 8AM GMT. The game client will be updated to version R3, while the server software will be updated to version R11 during this process.

Updates include new fixes, tweaked balancing, and the ability for servers to once again start with a single player for ranked and unranked matches.

If you are a server administrator that run ranked servers, then you should take note that a few settings are no longer changeable for ranked servers.The most notable example here is that you are no longer able to set the min # of players to start a round to less than 4. You must set it to unranked during the server startup; once the server is present on Battlelog, it can no longer be switched between ranked and unranked status. Once it is set to unranked, all other settings can be controlled. And yes, the setting for unlocking all weapons & gadgets (vars.allUnlocksUnlocked) is back.

Blah, statspadding while irrelevant was already preventable with procon There are multiple reports that this change applies to unranked servers too is intentional. :S

Incoming: Battlefield 3 update!

The DICE team are hard at work supporting Battlefield 3. To date, we have implemented several server updates to improve stability and performance. Next week we are publishing a significant Battlefield 3 client update for the PC. Console patches take a bit longer due to the certification requirements

BF3 STATS LAUNCHED

Finally BF3 Stats launched with some delay.

BF3 Stats isn't finished yet and still work in progress. Therefore only a small bunch of features are included for instance graphic system and a small player overview.
Within the next few days we will add the API, vehicles + infantery statistics and leaderboard.
